Project Scope
This exterior painting project transformed a mid-century home with extensive prep—wash, scrape/sand, repairs, priming exposed wood, and fresh caulking—before masking and applying a uniform topcoat to the lap siding, soffits, and trim using our professional airless spray machines. Some boards can appear slightly uneven from certain angles, but that effect isn’t poor spraying; it’s the natural wood grain reflecting light differently (earlywood/latewood “grain telegraphing”). The coating is continuous and sealed. The finished look—a modern green body with crisp white trim—boosts curb appeal, protects the envelope from Pacific Northwest weather, and showcases Shanco’s clean, durable exterior house painting results.

With this much peeling the owner preferred to replace the cedar siding. We did not do the replacement.
Some of our scraping is visible. This was needed to ensure the new paint isn't laid on top of fragile surfaces that would negatively impact it's longevity.
