Villa Revival: Drywall and Paint restoration

Project Scope

What started as a straightforward exterior repaint turned into a “drywall & awe” moment: midway through the millwork install, we discovered every window jamb was framed to receive double-layer drywall—a detail the GC never communicated. Rather than stall the project, we remobilized, added the extra layer at each jamb, and brought the surfaces up to a Level 5 smooth finish so the millwork landed perfectly. No back-and-forth, no drama, and no massive cost increase—just crisp reveals, seamless planes, and a sun-kissed exterior that looks intentional from day one.
