From Hazy to Homey: Tacoma Two-Story Smoke Seal & Repaint

Project Scope

This Tacoma two-story home came to us with stubborn smoke odor hanging on in almost every room. Before the owners could move forward with new flooring and furniture, they needed the entire interior properly sealed and refinished so the smell wouldn’t creep back through fresh materials. Our crew started by fully protecting the home—floors, cabinets, tubs, railings, and fixtures were carefully wrapped and taped off—then we cleaned and prepped the structure and applied professional smoke-seal primers to walls, ceilings, and key trim areas throughout the entry, stairway, main living spaces, kitchen, and master bath. Once the odor was locked in for good, we followed with a full interior repaint in a fresh, modern color palette, tying the whole house together. The result is a clean, neutral, and bright interior that looks and smells like a new home again.
