Lake Stevens, WA — Ceiling Drywall Patch & Finish

Project Scope

We were called to repair a ceiling in Lake Stevens, Washington. Rather than a quick “hot-mud patch,” we performed a structural, long-lasting repair: we cut back to sound gypsum, added backing support, installed new drywall, taped with paper tape, and built up multiple coats (setting compound base for strength, then lightweight finishing compounds) with wide feathering to make the patch disappear. After dust-controlled sanding, we spot-primed and painted to match the existing sheen so the repair blends cleanly in every light.

Because the home was fully furnished, our crew used full-room protection—poly containment walls, vent masking, floor paper with taped seams, and furniture wrapping—so the space stayed clean and the family could get back to normal quickly.
